description

When watching a film or listening to music, you want to listen with clarity and not affected by low frequency reverberation that usually build up in the corners of a room. Because bass notes have a longer frequency wave, they are more difficult to absorb and so require thicker sound absorbing materials suitable placed. When used in conjunction with our Acoustic Corner Cubes you will help to obtain optimum bass note absorption giving greater clarity of sound to enhance your listening experience.

Noise can typically be up to12dB louder in a corner than any other part of a room and this is why the installation of our cost effective Acoustic Corner Traps can be so beneficial.

The corner traps will help soak up the low-end frequencies within a room and also help define the lower frequencies bringing them under more control and easier on the ear. Low end distortion is a common problem and easily resolved using these corner traps. They are not expensive and it’s not necessary to fill a room with them. With correct installation in the right places low-end frequencies are tightened and excessive sound distortion is reduced.

Install

The Acoustic Corner Traps should be positioned 25 - 45mm away from corners and at varying heights. It may be necessary to move them around until the best positioning has been found to obtain the best results.

Flammability?

The Acoustic Corner Traps are fire resistant to meet modern furnishing standards and meets the requirements of schedule 1, part 1 the Furniture and Furnishings (fire) (safety) Regulations 1988 (amended 1989). There are no CFC's or HCFC's used in the production of these traps. Water blown technology is used with no brominated compounds used during production.
