Dedsheet vibration damping sheet is a sound insulating and damping pad to reduce resonance from sheet steel and has good physical and weather-proof properties with good vibration damping and sound insulating properties due to heavy mineral fillers and additives within the product.

Dedsheet vibration damping sheet is a heavy mineral loaded self adhesive pad nom. 2mm thick designed to damp vibration and ringing and can be applied inside metal doors, metal roofs, bulkheads and floors and any other thin metal construction. Dedsheet will minimise any noise created by the drumming and vibration of thin sheet metal by stiffening and sound damping it when the pad is applied. It also reduces airborne noise by adding mass. Unlike many conventional bitumen type sound damping sheets, Dedsheet remains flexible within temperatures -30 degrees centigrade to + 65 deg and some higher temperatures for limited periods. Dedsheet is a very flexible damping sheet that does not crack when flexed. Produced from recycled mineral loaded plastics and although the colour is normally a dark shade of grey it will vary.

Application Usage: Any thin steel structure that is prone to drum or resonate. Usually, enough of the panel should be covered with Dedsheet for best results. Check out the video showing how effective the product is.

Resistant to moisture, sound damping properties eliminate ring, noise and vibration from metal surfaces such as ducts, housings, panels, pipes, chutes and can be used in dirty environments.
The surface to be treated with the damping sheet must be clean, dust free and degreased. Trim the Dedsheet sheet to size using large scissors or a Stanley type knife taking necessary precautions not to cut yourself. Remove the release paper from the adhesive then carefully fix the damping sheet to the surface by applying one side initially then pressing it carefully down taking care not to trap any air bubbles. The adhesive is extremely strong so the pad may not be easily removable once applied so take care to get it right first time.
