Acoustic enclosure kits include all of the sound insulation required to isolate a noise source and line the inside of an acoustic enclosure that can easily be made at home by anyone used to working with a saw and screwdrivers. An easy option to address noise problems in the home from noisy small equipment such as shower pumps.
These DIY Acoustic Enclosure Kits are ideal for controlling noise from small, noisy equipment by reducing the reflection of sound from boundary surfaces thus reducing the overall noise levels. Using this kit will greatly help comply with the Control of Noise at Work Regulations. If you have noisy equipment in the workplace.
The kits detailed below are designed to be installed within a secure enclosure usually made from 18mm MDF or other dense material. The kits are easy to install and come with detailed fitting instructions. The acoustic lining to the enclosure is our Foam/barrier SA25FF/B/6 sound absorber has a tough, black film face and was originally designed to reduce noise from inboard boat engines. This foam is easily glued by sticking the bare foam side to the inside of the enclosure.
The Anti-vibration Pad is designed to isolate the piece of equipment such as a shower pump from the substrate where it is normally fixed and would normally be installed as two layers, glued each side of a high density block such as a small patio slab.
