Class 0 non-flammable sound absorbing acoustic foam designed to reduce reverberation and airborne noise from ducts including air conditioning ducts, machinery enclosures and covers.
Class 0 Fire resistant Acoustic Foam is totally non-flammable. The foam can be used in the same way as ordinary acoustic foam but is far more versatile. It is of particular use in heating and ventilation ducts, machinery guards and enclosures and even buildings. The foam also offers additional thermal insulation and has the advantage over mineral wool type acoustic materials of not losing dust or fibre particles.
This fireproof Acoustic Foam is based on a remarkable cellular bi-elastomer, which is incapable of supporting combustion, and will protect other materials from a wide range of dangerous ignition sources. The foam is soft, pliant and resilient therefore, making it easy to fit.
As well as being fireproof it is also CFC and HCFC free. Supplied with an optional self-adhesive backing this product is clean and easy to install.
