A new and improved grey recycled highly effective resilient rubber panel designed to absorb and reduce point load vibration for use under washing machines, treadmills and other items that produce vibration. Due to the unique density of this pad it will remain stable throughout its life and continue to absorb noise and vibration that would otherwise be transmitted through floors.

A grey recycled resilient high density rubber panel designed to absorb and reduce point load vibration for use under washing machines, treadmills and other noisy equipment that produces vibration.
Using its unique EPDM recycled rubber formulation, this product is ideal for reducing vibration caused from products such a washing machines, compressors or exercise equipment that would otherwise be uncomfortable and possibly annoy neighbours. It does not reduce airborne noise from noisy equipment but helps to de-couple vibrating equipment from the floor and so reduce structure borne noise being transmitted to other parts of the building. The panels supplied are 1m x 1m x 10mm and can easily be cut with a sharp Stanley type knife or jigsaw. This acoustically more efficient anti-vibration mat can now be used when height is more confined due to its thinner formulation.
If a greater noise reduction is needed for heavier equipment, we advise doubling up the panels to create a 20 mm thick layer.
It is also advisable to add a layer of thin board over the pad to support the feet of the product and prevent them from sinking into the anti-vibration pad over time. This can normally be sourced from any DIY superstore. It's important that the panel used to support the feet of the appliance do not come into contact with the walls of the enclosure where the appliance is fitted to reduce the possibility of structure borne vibration being transmitted through adjacent walls and cupboards.
