Key Benefits

  • PART E Building Regulation compliant
  • Produced with 75 % recycled sawdust using sustainable forest sourced timber
  • Suitable for floating floors on both concrete and timber joisted floors
  • Non Flammable
  • Easy to carry size

DESCRIPTION

QuietBoard is the best acoustic flooring available that can be used to upgrade the soundproofing of both concrete and timber suspended floors.  Its unique cement impregnated formulation gives the product more density than normal chipboard flooring and therefore, acoustically far more efficient.  Best used to form a floating floor on top of our R10 resilient insulation it can also be used for the base floor when an enhanced soundproofing result is required.

This type of flooring is now detailed in the Approved Document Part E for use in separating floors and is available in an easy to carry size as well as being easy to cut using diamond or tungsten tipped saws.

Produced using 75% recycled timber from sustainable sources along with its cement binders, gives QuietBoard its unique non-flammable rating as well as being fire resistant.  It is produced with a hard, smooth finish and although colour can vary, is usually light grey.  It is non-toxic but the usual precautions against dust and inhalation should be taken when cutting.
